The name Napraforgó (Nap-prah-for-go)

is the Hungarian (my heritage) word for sunflower - my favorite flower.

I am a Northwest and Seattle native capturing the beauty in nature through a lens.

I do all genres of photography from macro to portraits.  Some of my favorite things to photograph are:

  • Flowers

    • I love exploring the colors and patterns in flowers and plants. Sometimes only part of the flower is the most interesting

  • Birds and Animals

    • Hummingbirds are my favorite bird and by far the most challenging to photograph.  I am fascinated by them.

  • Landscapes and Water

    • Natural light is the best light to me.  How it plays on water at twilight and gives us interesting shadows.  I am in awe at the beauty that surrounds us.

  • People

    • Getting candid shots of people that show their true expressions and personality is a passion of mine.  I do high school senior, engagement and family photos.

My name is Wendy Anderson and I'm a Seattle native capturing the beauty in nature and other things through a lens.

I took an interest in photography at a very young age and I love exploring the simple beauty found in nature like patterns in flowers and plants, landscapes and the way the light plays on the hills and water at twilight.

Photographing birds is a passion of mine because I find it challenging.

I love getting candid shots of people that show their true expressions and personality.  I often annoy my family and friends because I usually have a camera in tow to get these candid shots!  I recently began doing photo shoots with individuals and look forward to developing my skills in that area.  I had no idea how much fun it would be!

The name Napraforgó (Nap-prah-for-go) comes the Hungarian word for sunflower - my favorite flower.
